Unable to Import the Data in Tally
When you are trying to import the data in Tally using XML file, make sure that option “Ignore errors during data import” is set to Yes. This setting will allow Tally to import the matching data and generate the log/imp file with the summary of Imported data and not imported data with complete error description.
On gateway of Tally, Press F12 > General

How to Control Duplicate Voucher Import in Tally
Voucher number is the only check point for the Tally when you are importing any data from XML to Tally.
In case your voucher numbering method is automatic than there is a high possibility that your data gets duplicated when the same XML or voucher has been imported in Tally.
Solution
To prevent duplication of vouchers keep your voucher numbering method as “Manual” with Prevent duplicate option as “Yes”

Date Format Issue In Excel File
Refer below steps to resolve date formatting issue while processing data.
Step 1:- First of all select the Columns containing the “dates”
Step 2: Select Text To Columns. You’ll find this on the DATA tab/menu, depending on which version of Excel you are using.
Step 3: Ensure that the original data type is set to Delimited and click Next
Step 4: Ensure that all the check boxes are clear and click Next
Step 5: Set the Column Data Format to DMY and Click Finish button this format is DD/MM/YYYY is format is correct date format.
Error – No Entries In Voucher
You might have noticed error message “No entries in Voucher!” while importing XML data to Tally.ERP9
To resolve this error, set option “Enable zero-valued transaction to Yes”
The possible reason for this error is one of your vouchers in XML is having no accounting values.
